My name is Christopher Davis and this portfolio displays some of my work for Cult Couture and the World of Wearable Arts since 2010. The majority of my garments are constructed from recycled or unconventional materials. Each garment is my personal interpretation of a particular material that you would never associate with being worn on the body. The result is garments with their own unique personalities and stories. Some of these garments have won awards at the World of Wearable Arts competition (please refer to my portfolio for further details).
Each garment I craft myself; creativity is my passion and garments are my medium of self-expression. Complementing my creative talents I have also studied garment construction through two years of tertiary study. From 2012-2015 I was a judge for Trash to Fashion and also helped teach design workshops to various schools ages and disabilities. I have even had the honor of designing a friends 1950's style wedding dress! reflecting the diversity of garments I am open to creating.
